Metformin
When metformin and Biocef are taken together, your body may metabolize the drugs differently than intended and significantly increase the amount of metformin in your system. Your healthcare provider may choose to monitor your progress and adjust your dosage accordingly if this occurs.
 
Typhoid Vaccine
If you are taking Biocef and receive a live, attenuated typhoid vaccine, the vaccine may lose some if its effectiveness. This, in turn, could leave you unprotected against typhoid.
