Rare Side Effects of Biocef

Other side effects of Biocef are rare, occurring in less than 1 percent of people who take the drug. Because they are so uncommon, it is difficult to tell whether the side effects are because of the Biocef or due to something else.
 
Some of these rare side effects of Biocef include, but are not limited to:
 
  • Hallucinations
  • Fatigue
  • Joint pain
  • Bloody diarrhea
  • Vomiting
  • Anemia
  • Low platelets in the blood (thrombocytopenia)
  • Vaginal discharge
  • Confusion
  • Seizures
  • Serious intestinal infection (enterocolitis).
     

Final Thoughts on Side Effects of Biocef

It is possible that you may experience some or none of these side effects of Biocef. Unfortunately, there is no way for your healthcare provider to know beforehand if you will have side effects from a medicine that you have never tried. Therefore, let your healthcare provider know if you develop any side effects. Also let your healthcare provider know if you develop something that "just does not seem right." While it may not be a side effect, your healthcare provider will be able to diagnose and treat the problem.
