Cipro 250 Mg
People who have certain bacterial infections may be prescribed Cipro® (ciprofloxacin). This product comes in the form of tablets, an oral liquid suspension, and an intravenous (IV) solution. It is usually taken twice a day, with about 12 hours between doses.
The adult Cipro dosage varies by the type and severity of the infection being treated, but is usually between 250 mg and 750 mg every 12 hours for oral Cipro and between 200 mg and 400 mg every 8 or 12 hours for intravenous Cipro. Higher or lower doses of the medicine may be used for certain infections.
Regardless of the form or dosage you are prescribed, it is important to finish your entire course of the medication. If you stop taking this antibiotic too soon, it may cause your infection to return.
