Furadantin Side Effects

Nausea, loss of appetite, diarrhea, and drowsiness are a few of the possible side effects of Furadantin. In most cases, this medication is well tolerated. However, serious side effects may occur in rare cases. Tell your healthcare provider right away if you develop chest pain, bloody diarrhea, unusual sensations in the hands, or any other potentially serious reactions to the medicine.

An Introduction to Furadantin Side Effects

As with any medicine, side effects are possible with Furadantin® (nitrofurantoin suspension). However, not everyone who takes the medication will experience problems. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well. If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are treated easily by you or your healthcare provider.
