Although most people do not experience problems when taking
ofloxacin, side effects are possible. Common ones include nausea,
diarrhea, eye burning and itching, and discomfort in the ear. Clearly, the side effects a person experiences depend on the form of ofloxacin being used.
Fortunately, most side effects of ofloxacin are mild and easily treated. However, potentially serious reactions are possible, including joint problems, tendon problems, and allergic reactions. If you are taking ofloxacin and experience anything that "just does not seem right," contact your healthcare provider.
