Rifampin 300 Mg

People who have tuberculosis or those who are carriers of Neisseria meningitides (the bacteria that causes meningococcal infections, such as meningitis) may benefit from treatment with rifampin (Rifadin®).
 
Rifampin comes in various strengths and forms, including:
 
  • Rifampin 150 mg capsules
  • Rifampin 300 mg capsules
  • Rifampin 600 mg for injection.
 
The dosage you receive will depend on your weight, the reason you are using the drug, and your response to it, along with various other factors. This medicine may not be suitable for people who have diabetes, liver disease, or kidney problems.
